The Orkustra – Lightshows for the Blind

Vinyl LP, released on RD Records. Unearthed in recent years, these extremely rare recordings feature music made by one of the most unusual bands in h history. In early 1966, Bobby BeauSoleil originated an electrified psychedelic chamber group that over the course of the following year and a half would become widely known in the San Francisco Bay Area as The Orkustra. This album preserves recordings of some of this band’s public performances and private sessions. A generous booklet is included, with back-story by Bobby BeauSoleil, and reproductions of posters and handbills from some of The Orkustra’s gigs.
